Abide Worship is a collective of worshippers led by Derek Hester, born from a desire to create songs that draw hearts back to God’s presence. Their debut album, Offering, began in the quiet moments of Derek rocking his youngest daughter, Margo, to sleep—melodies first captured in late-night voice memos and passed around to friends who helped shape the sound.
What started as raw ideas shared through emails and texts slowly grew into a Spirit-led project. With the creative partnership of producer Sid Menon and Sleepwalker Sound, Abide Worship came to life.
These songs were written in the ordinary moments—holding kids, doing dishes, driving in the car. You don’t need a perfect platform to praise Jesus. Worship isn’t just for Sundays; it’s for every single day, no matter the circumstance.
With their first release, Abide Worship has managed to break through the worship genre and create a fresh sound that captures the passion involved in being set free by the power of Jesus.
